Stuart is a building scientist and registered architect with a master’s in architectural engineering. He brings a background in architectural science, human science, and ecology to create buildings that optimize human experience and environmental stewardship. Traditionally, building scientists have focused on the analysis of heat, air, and moisture flows across building enclosures. Stuart provides this with an emphasis on how the appropriate indoor environmental conditions for occupants complicate the engineering of building performance. His work influences Branch Pattern’s approach to creating better built environments.
