Biography
Neil Marciniak started his career in economic development seventeen years ago in his hometown of Wausau in north central Wisconsin. He then spent ten years on the west side of metro Denver as an economic development specialist with the Jefferson County Economic Development Corporation and the City of Lakewood, Colorado. Neil has been Centennial’s economic development director for the past five years, responsible for shaping and implementing programs to continuously improve Centennial’s economy. Centennial’s economic development efforts include adapting the City’s shopping centers to a dynamic retail industry, responding to changing business and workforce preferences within the City’s employment centers and other strategies designed to strengthen and diversify Centennial and Denver South’s economy. Neil has a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and International Studies and has been a Certified Economic Developer through the International Economic Development Council since 2009.
