Biography
From LEGO® bricks to infill communities, Natalie has always loved to create. The thrill of imagining the greater, more vibrant potential of a vacant lot or underused building inspired her to obtain her Master of Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Colorado Denver.
She believes cities are one of the most enduring and distinct ways a community tells its collective story. Coordinating the development and entitlement process allows her to contribute a sentence to that story. This requires tenacity, creativity, and the continual balancing of the small details and the big picture, the immediate and the long-term, the specific project, and the community.
As development associate, Natalie marshals the many moving pieces of development towards successful project execution. She is responsible for consultant management throughout the design and entitlement process, establishing project schedules, developing and monitoring budgets, permitting, and utility coordination. She also assesses the feasibility of future opportunities by reviewing zoning codes and planning documents and preparing density studies and pro forma.
Beyond being a member of ULI and the HBA Metro Denver, Natalie is also an unrepentant trivia nerd and will gladly overthink your favorite tv show or movie.
