Biography
Ken Andrews is a principal architect with Arch11, Inc, an award-winning architecture practice with studios in Denver and Boulder. As head of the Denver studio Ken has led the design and construction efforts for numerous award winning projects including custom homes, restaurants to mid-size institutional facilities. He continues to bring provocative solutions to projects of all scales through the implementation of current technology and endless drive to question status quo design solutions. Prior to architecture, Ken worked in residential and commercial construction for a decade. Upon completion of his Bachelor of Environmental Design at the University of Colorado he received his Master of Architecture from Rice University where his graduate research focused on developing innovative building systems and project delivery methods and high performance architecture. Along with his practice in architecture, Ken served as an Instructor at the University of Colorado’s College of Architecture and Planning for 11 years. In 2010 Ken was named AIA Colorado Young Architect of the Year, 2011 AIA Colorado Instructor of the Year and is a recipient of the AIA Western Mountain Region Young Architect Award.
