Biography

Joseph, a founding partner of studiotrope Design Collective, has spent the past 25 years working on architectural projects in the public realm.  He believes public architecture is responsible for inspiring and communicating with the community it serves.  Through his travels and tangential studies, Joseph has focused on the ever-changing role of the library in the eyes of its users, fostering partnerships with library organizations and speaking engagements at local and national conferences.  He has a Master of Architecture from Arizona State University and a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies from the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana where he studied two semesters throughout Europe.
