Elemental Homes was founded by Architect Jonathan Coppin, who grew up on a construction site where his father built their first home when Coppin was five years old. Since then, he has continuously been building and fabricating. From neighborhood clubhouses to go-carts, he spent a large part of his childhood creating and building in his father’s shop.
After receiving his master’s degree in Architecture from the University of Colorado, Coppin went to work at some of Denver’s most prestigious architecture firms, where he worked on large scale commercial projects.
Coppin was able to benefit from a wide range of experience including the design and construction of airports, courthouses, hotels, office buildings, museums, and high rises in cities around the world.
After many years of living a life of endless travel, Coppin decided to create a company that spoke to the heart of what was important to him. He created Elemental Homes, a company that would be entirely local, a company that melded concerns about the planet with the desire to bring highly accomplished design and crafted construction directly to his clients.
Elemental Homes creates dwellings based on a model of sustainability, modern style, high quality, and healthy environments. Elemental Homes are designed for clients who are design aware and environmentally conscious.
