Biography

Jim Pfeiffer is a co-founder and Managing Principal of UNUM:collaborative. He is a registered
architect in multiple states with experience in architecture as a project architect and project
manager, as well as in construction as a field superintendent. He has collaborated with clients
and firms of all sizes, from startups to industry behemoths. His background is primarily
large-scale aerospace, healthcare, and government projects, but also includes boutique retail,
food and beverage, and single family residential.

Jim is a graduate of Philadelphia University, where he earned a B.Arch degree. Jim has
maintained a passion for exploring new methods and technologies as a vehicle for bettering
the profession of architecture. His positive energy, attention to detail, and focus on teamwork
make him a value to the firm. The son of a carpenter, his lifelong immersion in both design and
construction inform a uniquely comprehensive, holistic approach to architecture – the very
foundation of UNUM: collaborative.
