Biography
Doug Wilson is a designer, art director, filmmaker, and cyclist. He has worked with companies big and small, including Starbucks, Monotype, and Virgin Mobile. His work has been featured in books and magazines, and he has presented at The New York Times, NASA, Conde Nast, TypeCon, and TYPO Berlin. He has worked for an ad agency, taught design and typography at the university level, and spent one summer as a letterpress artist-in-residence in Geneva, Switzerland. In 2012, Wilson directed a feature-length documentary, Linotype: The Film.
