Biography
Damon McLeese, currently serves as the Executive Director of Access Gallery in Denver a position he has held for 20 years. He is a fierce advocate for unleashing the creative genius in everyone he meets and believes we should all embrace the creative genius within. He works with for profit and nonprofit organizations to address issues of culture and creativity challenging long held notions of ability disability. Most recently Damon has turned his attention to creative aging and collaborative artmaking. Damon holds a masters degree in nonprofit management and leadership from Regis University. Damon has been featured on NBC News and is the 2015 recipient of the Mayor’s award for innovation in the Arts in Denver and the 2017 Governor’s award for Leadership in the Arts.
