Carson Shields

Biography

Carson Shields, HCM, AIA COTE, developed his passion for sustainability first through hiking and skiing with his family in Montana, Idaho, and Washington and then focusing on the built environment while earning his Bachelors of Architecture Washington State University. Carson is actively involved in Denver’s sustainable community including Colorado’s COTE chair, USGBC’s Green Apple Day of Service, Bike to Work Day, and he leads an annual Green Challenge at Hord Coplan Macht where he is currently a Project Manager in the K-12 architecture studio. He loves the technical nature of sustainability and enjoys watching school buildings come together with sustainable features.
