Biography
Before moving to Colorado in 2011, Beth Pilar Strongwater studied interior architecture at California College of the Arts. She obtained culinary and pastry degrees from Le Cordon Bleu Paris, co-owned a bakery in NYC, worked as a food stylist and writer, and spent many years cooking in residential kitchens as a caterer. In 2016, she fused her cooking and design expertise and launched Studio Strongwater. Beth’s goal as a designer is two-fold: to find the right solutions for her projects by understanding what each client desires from their kitchen and how they uniquely occupy it; and then to deliver an exquisite, comfortable and functional kitchen within budget. She believes, “great design is like a great recipe: it is a compilation of excellent ingredients that work well together, and thoughtful strategies to turn them into beautiful, pleasurable, even inspiring spaces.”
