Virtual reality and 360º media are hot topics among many industries, but few are as primed to take advantage of this exciting technology as Design and Architecture. From renderings to portfolios, virtual reality (VR) has arrived—and it’s not just a novelty. VR is a promising tool to help designers showcase their work, engage new markets and improve client communications. As with any emerging technology, finding the ideal entry point for your business can be intimidating, but it doesn’t have to be. Surprisingly, there are already simple and highly effective ways to start incorporating VR into your design practice.

In this session you will:

• Uncover the current and future capabilities of VR technology
• Experience VR firsthand through live examples of Denver-based design businesses
• Discover creative ways designers are using VR to:

– showcase work, enhance portfolios and communicate with clients
– leverage client and industry relationships to create new VR content
– partner with media outlets and participate in experiential marketing
