TOUR: LOT Twenty Eight

Join us as we tour Denver Design Week attendees through LOT Twenty Eight, a redevelopment of a 45,000-square-foot former warehouse located at the intersection of 28th & Blake streets in Denver’s RiNo neighborhood. The project’s defining feature is a nearly 20,000-square-foot urban outdoor patio designed in collaboration with Wenk Associates. This hidden oasis is meant to foster community, inspire connectivity, and act as a neighborhood gathering place. Events from yoga classes to bike-in movie nights will drive the community aspect of the project, with both sensory and visual green spaces for the public and customers to enjoy.
While much of the attention rests on the exterior — maintaining the character of these old buildings while addressing modern code requirements — the building’s interior will also see a refresh and result in a mixture of retail, creative office, and food and beverage concepts. Additionally, there will be 2,400 square feet of dedicated interior event/gallery space that will play host to rotating art shows and be available for public and private rental.
This project is both literally and figuratively “green” because it creates an urban oasis of lawn and trees while repurposing existing buildings, which is far more sustainable than building new. It couldn’t be more appropriate that this uniquely “green” project is right in our back yard!
LOT Twenty Eight is slated to be complete in 2019.
