A classic home along one of Denver’s most revered streets, the Razee House on Shangri-La Drive remained in its original state for the better part of four decades. In 2013, a family of four purchased the home and launched a renovation project with RKD Architects and Elemental Homes that would bring the house into the modern era, while staying true to the vision and principles of original architect Charles Haertling.

Join us for an exclusive curated tour by architect of record and general contractor Jonathan Coppin of Elemental Homes, who sheds light on design details and provides big picture perspective on the historic significance of the home. With an open entry and stairs, enlarged and redesigned kitchen, new master suite, and glass-enclosed lounge, learn how every design decision was based on the central question: What would Charles Haertling do?

ABOUT THE PRESENTER
Elemental Homes was founded by Architect Jonathan Coppin. He grew up on a construction site, where his father built their first home when Coppin was five years old. Since then, he has continuously been building and fabricating, from neighborhood clubhouses to go-carts. He spent a large part of his childhood creating and building in his father’s shop.
