Play for All:RiNo ArtPark and Creative Placemaking for Healthy Communities Presented by RiNo Art District
The RiNo ArtPark is a creative hub in the Five Points neighborhood designed to spark innovation and bring people together. Nestled within open green space at 35th and Arkins, and connected to the South Platte River, ArtPark explores intersections of nature, recreation, and culture. RiNo ArtPark’s mission is to create a dynamic park space dedicated to creative expression for all, focusing on access, education, collaboration, culture, community, and nature. ArtPark’s partners make the space come alive: RiNo Art District, the City of Denver, Denver Parks and Recreation, Denver Public Library, The Denver Zine Library, RedLine Contemporary Art Center, and Cocua (Focus Points Family Resource Center’s Community Culinary Accelerator).
Attendees will tour the renovated RiNo Art District ArtPark buildings and learn how the design and advocacy process for creating this park inspired ArtPark’s mission, programming, and partnerships.
