From Panels to A Home:How Prefab Housing is Changing the Conversation
Purchase Tickets
Ever wonder how prefabricated homes are designed and constructed? Tour the Simple Homes factory, a Denver-based off-site construction start-up that is focused on using technology to solve Colorado’s growing housing crisis.
Participants of this on-site tour will see a demonstration of a unique Swedish-inspired panelized construction system. The designing, manufacturing, and assembling homes and residential structures are prefabricated in this factory and then shipped as panels.
Once at the construction site, homes are assembled rapidly – usually in 1-2 days. Including site and finish work, the Simple Homes system can decrease total project time by up to 50% compared to traditional on-site construction.
