Ryan Dirksen and Marina Chotzinoff met in San Francisco in the midst of the dot com boom- he cooking in restaurants and managing a motorcycle shop, she leading the web design and production team at a tech company. They eventually moved to Marina’s home town of Denver where Ryan bought a welder and started acquiring tools and a yard (and garage) full of wood slabs. Now, ten years later, they own a metal and wood fabrication shop, two sawmills and a wood kiln in Globeville. Self-taught and passionate, they have gained a reputation for well-designed, highly crafted furniture and have amassed an inventory of local and specialty wood slabs. Their clients are home owners, architects, designers and business owners who are discerning and seek quality, custom, unique pieces that perfectly fit their environment.
Notable clients include: Starbucks, Coca-cola, Whole Foods, The Source and The Children’s Museum.
